Great Dunham FC – March 2019

Great Dunham Primary School are currently play football in a league set up  by Inspire Sports.  Other teams in the league include Litcham Primary School, Castle Acre Primary and Sporle Primary School.  Mr Whitty and Mrs Mummery hold football training sessions weekly after school.

Match report 16th May 2019 Castle Acre v Dunham.  The game was a close one with the score at 2-2 at half time.  Dunham then managed to get two further goals in the second half making it 4-2.  Then Castle Acre responded with 3 further goals resulting in a final score of Castle Acre 5 Great Dunham 4.

Match report 25th April 2019 ~ On Thursday 25th April Great Dunham FC played Litcham. The score was 2-6 to Litcham.  The game started at 4:00pm and Litcham scored the first goal.  Around 5 minutes later Dunham scored twice that brought us up to the second half.  At the start of the second half, Litcham equalized leaving the score at 2 all.  Then Litcham broke through Dunham’s defence and scored another 4 times.  Dunham didn’t score again. The match was won by Litcham with 6 goals to Dunham’s 2.

Match report 4th April 2019 ~ “At the Great Dunham school playing field, Sporle and Great Dunham played against each other from 4pm to 4:40pm.  Lenny put us one up but Sporle equalised.  Then Kaylen got us to 2-1.  Again they equalized with a penalty.  Kaylen then went for another goal and scored successfully.  There was an own goal by Sporle which made the score 4-2 for Dunham.  Harvey scored just before the half time making it 5-2.  After half time Sporle scored.  A few minutes after Viktor scored.  Kaylen finished off with scoring 2 more goals leaving the final score 8-3 to Great Dunham

Our after-school club is open 3.15-5.30pm.

There is a range of activities included in After School Club including Indoor/outdoor sports, arts and crafts, gardening and computers.

Lego Club takes place every Thursday 3:15pm – 4:15pm.  The club is organised, administered and supported by Kids With Bricks Ltd, an external provider who deliver after school clubs across the whole of the UK.  This club is open for any child in Reception, Year 1, 2, 3 and 4.  

As well as completing a range of exciting educational challenges, students will have the chance to work both individually and to work in teams. 

As an added bit of fun, students from the club will also take part in a weekly inter-school competition where parents can vote for their favourites and points are won for the national leader board.

Year 3 and Year 4 Thursday 3:15pm – 4pm

Year 5 and Year 6 Thursday 3:15pm – 4pm 

Children will have the opportunity to complete homework, use computers for Mathletics, Numbots, Times Table Rock Stars and read to an adult.  Collect from the school gate at 4pm.
