Assemblies at Great Dunham give a regular opportunity for the whole school to gather together to learn about religious beliefs and festivals, consider moral issues and share in achievements.
Parents have the right to withdraw their child from collective worship. Any parent who wishes to exercise this right should contact the Head Teacher.
Our regular whole school assembly schedule:
Monday – SEAL Tuesday – Religious Festivals Wednesday – Singing Thursday – Reading Buddies Friday – Achievement
We hold our assemblies in St Andrews Church or on the playground.
Throughout the year we hold special assemblies and encourage friends, family, and community members to join us. These include Harvest Festival, Remembrance, Christingle, and Easter assemblies. Dates for these are published on the school notice board and in the newsletter.
